Paul Hollingsworth – Artist Painting in Oils

Paul Hollingsworth invites you to his online gallery of contemporary oil paintings.

Paul’s portfolio covers a wide range of subjects with the intent to capture and convey mood. His current work is dominated by the abstract but you will also find a wide range of subjects and styles albeit with a common ‘hand-writing’. Paul works in two studios in Bruges, Belgium.

Paul developed his techniques and styles during seven years of intensive study.

Paul’s painting Jack-of-Spades (see blog) was shortlisted for the London Royal Academy’s 2019 Summer Exhibition but was not selected for hanging – so work starts now on entries for 2020. As you can imagine a lot was learned with this submission and a lot more will be learned when I view the exhibition in June.
